I took a fancy to this

Took a walk along the High Street window shopping and this was the only thing that really took my fancy. In deep reds and silvers it was my sort of colours and very nicely displayed.

I must relate something that happened while I was looking. I met a local shop keeper sweeping his footpath and we got talking.Along came a former neighbour of ours. I asked him where he had disappeared to. We bought a house in Boyce Street he said. I built a house in Boyce St said the shop keeper. Number 12. That's the house we bought said the former neighbour. I left them swapping stories about it. Serendipity?
