In the Bin
My cast is in the bin and hopfully thats were it will stay.
I didn't have a very long wait at the hospital today. The cast came off and I had a xray, When I was seen by the very young doctor he really didn't know what to do with my leg. The xray showed nothing...so when I asked him what it showed last time. I was told it didn't show anything either. So why do another xray when it dosen't show up on a xray! He said he had only been at the hospital for two weeks, maybe he's just out of training.
The doctor went off to talk to a specialist about me. I was told I need to be seen by a specialist as it should have healed in the cast after all that time. My apointment is for January 21. I was given a form to take to my Physio to have treatment to get my foot moving better. When I rang him he said he would see me but thought it was pointless as it may do more damage than good!
I just have a tight thing over the leg to stop any swelling and was told to walk as much as possible on it. I do have some crutches to help me get around. It is still so sore.
This afternoon was spent organise insurance, power and payment for the house. I went into the bank this morning to arrange my balance payment for the house in Akaroa and was told I could do it on line. When I tried i was declined as there was not enough funds. At first i thought I had put in the worng amount so did it again.. still declined. I rang the bank and was told there is a limit on the account. I told her I had been in the bank this monring and she said they should have told me that so it could be changed. And she wanted to know the branch. That got sorted and now its payed.
In all it has been a very frustrating day in may day!
