We went back to visit old friends and former neighbors today in Moraga, California, just over the hill from Oakland.  This is our home, which was brand new in 1985, and we lived there for 3 years.  We planted the trees on the left side of the house on the hill and they were about 8 feet tall when we planted them!  I couldn't believe how tall they are now!  Our friends prepared a magnificent dinner for the four of us complete with candlelight.  It was a lovely evening and a reminder about how wonderful it is to have friends you've known for over 30 years, and we all still LIKE each other!!!!!  :)
