The Miners
These guys were greeting us as we caught the last tube from Kings Cross to anywhere, which turned out to be Euston, and the wrong direction. When you're riding the tube in the day, you never think of how it keeps running - like the veins of the city, and these guys are the doctors.
After recovering from the night before (We didn't make it home until 5 in the morning. Meg had 3 hours sleep before work... couldn't have been much worse! we got to sleep in) and pottering around Megs house without Meg, which felt odd, we made our way into town. Met Meg for lunch in Farringdon again, before heading to Oxford street to look around. I Left Jenny and Sean here, and met up with my cousin, who I'd not seen for ages, and not seen without parents and family hanging about, so it was nice to have a one-on-one conversation over a smoothie.
I met with Jenny at Waterloo for a bit before saying our goodbyes - we might not see each other for ages, with me going to Santander and she to Amsterdam for uni next year! A bit odd.
Back to Megs, flagging from the night before majorly, and realised that the smoothie was all I'd had to eat all day, so wasn't the best conversation once I'd managed to sneak onto a train that my ticket wouldn't allow. As it happened I ended up in the same carriage as Meg and her dad!
A long train journey home. I'm sure I fell asleep many times, and may have started to snore in the quiet carriage. Nice.
Working at dad's again tomorrow, so an early start... :(
