Flood (nearly)

After several days of heavy rain and a few alerts we finally got a proper flood warning this morning.

We moved as much as we could upstairs and waited....

The waters rose over the bank and into he garden. We ended up with a bit of river running through the garden and our very own island. Luckily the waters peaked before they hit the house and are now slowly receding. This shot is from the treehouse.

Fingers crossed for dry days...
