That is all I can describe it. I didn't know that David Bowie had died until I got home and read it on a friends FB page. I am surprised Mr PB and Fu got any tea as making it was a struggle through the tears. This is probably the first famous person's (that I can remember) death that has had such an affect on me.  This is so sad.

I was/am a huge  fan.  He was one the first 'real' pop star and style of music that determined my teenage years. I played his music over and over. I dug out my sisters albums and later in my teens delved into some of more obscure albums.  I went to see him on his Serious Moonlight tour in 1983, reported as not being his best time musically, but he was still amazing to see, and I am so glad I went. I remember the moment he walked on stage. Wow!

He was witty, creative, not afraid to push the boundaries, great voice and good looking too.  Such a loss. Favourite song, I have never been able to decide, when one comes on the radio I always think, how much I love that one, there are too many good ones to say one.
