Basil found something soft, warm and comfortable to sleep on this evening in the form of Polly's tummy.

An eventful Monday what with the sad death of David Bowie being announced, the new desks having arrived in our office at work and finding out that my upgrade viva is taking place this Wednesday rather than at the end of the month as I'd assumed! So I'm busy preparing for the latter and will find out this week whether my research will continue or whether I'll get my life back instead. Watch this space...
