Sky Battle

I thought I would give the bird photos a rest for a while -- but then I captured this lucky shot. It's a peregrine falcon harassing a bald eagle. The eagle spotted the falcon coming from behind and rolled to present talons in a classic eagle defensive move. The extra photo was taken about half a second earlier -- with the eagle looking over its' shoulder and sensing the attack.
My luck was in getting them both in the same frame.
