I got a 'one ball of wool' book for Crimbo and duly purchased knitting needles and wool. Then I lost the book for over 2 weeks. Betty was getting the blame for it being in her room. However it was found on the kitchen dresser where I had looked at lest twice.
It must be 30 years since I've knitted purl. It took me 3 goes to get it right, but I fear it may be next winter before my 'Urban Beanie Bobble Hat' is created.
