I have played this double album to death over the years....

What an extraordinary artist and aren't we lucky to have experienced him in his lifetime?

After the initial shock when I saw the news on Twitter at 7am I have enjoyed listening to his music and the tributes pouring in on the radio and seeing my various online feeds full of him and reading about him and thinking about him and seeing what my friends have to say and seeing how many of them have met him and seeing just how much we are all connected... I have shed some tears today but mainly I feel happy that he lived such an amazing life and that he has been able to manage his death with dignity and creativity and was able to leave us this final album which will raise money for cancer research.

What a life and what a legacy
