       Started the day watching How About You  starring Vanessa Redgrave and Joss Ackland.  This is a story not so much about growing up as about coming to maturity.  It is set in a private residential home for the elderly in Ireland. The younger sister of the owner, who bought the place with an inheritance, comes to work as a housekeeper, sorry, Hygiene Technician.   The younger sister is left to run the home after the older sister is persuaded to take a break one Christmas time. Some residents have families to visit over the holiday but four remain: a talented but cantankerous pianist (Joss Ackland) and entertainer (Vanessa Redgrave) and sisters (Brenda Fricker and Imelda Staunton)   Hilarity ensues as well as some growing up and maturing. As to who matures well . . . watch the movie.  It is based on a Maeve Binchy story.

       We then made a trip over to Show Low to do some shopping.  Kiki came with us for a run in snow at the dog park.  Lunch: chimichanga for Kathy beef enchiladas for me.  Shopping and then home over the top of the mountain where this old cattle loading chute is slowly decaying.
