Fishy business

We're really lucky to have a proper fish shop in our town (ok, its a fish kiosk, really). The fish is fresh and plentiful and comes down from Lowestoft.

So, summer or winter - whenever the weather is wet and cold - the prudent person nips out to buy a kilo of their fishy odds and ends and makes a fish chowder that is both a dream and a delight.

If you are very lucky, they will be filleting lemon sole or something similar and you can even get some fish 'frames' to make your stock with. Free, gratis and for nothing...
