Hummingbird sipping

This little hummer was filling up at the Pineapple Sage nectar,  I have been putting the plant under the bright blue tarp every night so it won't freeze. I couldn't decide which photo to Blip.....I put my second choice in the extra.

Also, thanks for your kind comments on my derelict shed.  Yesterday, I was actually looking for a different old barn out in the same general direction.....well, I didn't photograph the red barn I intended. And today I heard on the news that the big red barn burned down today....completely to the ground. So sad!!
