Art Deco Delight
The Masonic Hotel, located in the tiny town of St Andrews, was built in 1937, in the classic Art Deco style, which was popular at the time.
It's quite a handsome building, and every time I drive past it I'm always thinking that I want to photograph it - but never do. So I decided to make the short drive there to do just that today.
The extra photo shows the exquisite leadlight windows.
We had some yucky bananas that I was going to throw away, but then I decided to make a cake with them. I iced it with a delicious brown sugar & cinnamon butter cream frosting.
