Flowering Bug Bane

Another very hot and humid day today. Sometimes I think I am going to melt, the temperature was 35c feeling much hotter, in the 40's! Have watered the garden in the evening and left out water dishes for the squirrels and toads and the bird bath is full for the birds.This heat wave has also made some plants flower earlier this summer, including the bug bane. The frilly and fuzzy flowers are opening and starting to attract the butterflies and insects! Hope this very hot weather ends soon!
