A bright interval

There was a short bright spell this morning before the rain and hail set in this afternoon.  I have been projecting a film for our local Friends and Neighbours club this afternoon on how our village celebrated the year 2000.  I just managed to get down to the village hall with all the equipment before the rain started but it was really nasty as I was packing up and coming away.  I do hope it gets a bit drier soon even if that means it gets colder.  Our local nature reserves are so wet at the moment with much of the ground waterlogged if not indeed flooded.
