The Pudding of Doom

Everything that might have gone wrong with Sunday's Bakewell Pudding did just that. It all went horribly wrong.

It was very tasty though - and still is, though maybe no longer after tea today. That should see it finished.

Yes, it is a Pudding. No, it is not a Tart.

We are  a long way from Bakewell these days, so it's always a DIY job. Usually it goes better and looks more authentic.

I miss Bakewell - it's a foodie paradise. We used to have some lovely days out, shopping for  puddings, bread and cheese... ooh, Sage Derby, yum!
