pausing

A work day today - the forecast was grim & part of being able to get away for trips like this is a commitment to put the work hours in when I can - so it seemed like a plan to avoid an avalanche forecast that now contains aspects of High ( natural avalanches will occur) and get some work done.
by lunch I needed to get out for a while - so aimed for a walk in the Queens Forest - I've often driven past this scenic lochan (Loch Pityoulish) at Nethy Bridge with my eyes on the big mountains - so today I parked here & went for a wander - a different sort of scenery but beautiful all the same.
