Voyage Of The Dawn Treader

Up really early this morning (5.45am) to take my mum to hospital for a minor knee op. Seized the opportunity to take a drive in the dark up to Loch Lomond, and to the little village of Luss. The village was still and silent, quite a special experience to wander around completely alone and undisturbed. Inside the little picture book cottages, life was just beginning to stir. It was quite special to take a stroll along the pier as dawn broke, the blue toned half light of day break casting silvery shapes on the loch. Snow capped Ben Lomond looked pretty majestic too. A great start to the day.
