Clematis

Home again after a long train journey from Exeter with an hour late arrival in Edinburgh due to problems on the line. The train was very busy with many folk standing. The weather was atrocious all the way north to the border. No 3 son drove me to the station in Exeter and no 1 son met me at Edinburgh to chauffeur me home.
Going out to the garden later I saw that my large clematis had flowered whilst I had been away - but sadly the wind and rain had damaged it. Who would have thought the month of July would be like this!
