Onwards and Upwards!

Firstly, many thanks to everyone for their comments, congrats, stars, hearts, donations and pledges! What a splendid lot you all are! 
As of posting this, I got 47 hearts and stars, so I'll round it up to £50 and up my pledge.
We went to Old Moor today. The day started with beautiful light, then became more variable in the afternoon. It was cold (finally!) and the water level was very high so not much room for waders, but despite this, we counted 45 species - a good boost to my year list. My favourite shot of the day - mainly because the light was so nice, was this Redwing. Red seems to be a recurring theme in recent blips, but I'm saying goodbye to my Blip Red Balloon as I press the Publish button.
