heading north

Off to Scotland for the weekend for a friend's wedding and to see +1/2's parents. Working from home meant we could leave just after 5 to get a flight up to Glasgow into rain and snow. Lovely! Got the rental car, took the long route to Largs (normal route blocked by snow), arrived at the in-laws about 9:30pm, packed the children off to bed, collapsed for 15 minutes before falling asleep.
