Determination

Today was the first day the red-bellied woodpecker has visited my feeder. He was determined to get his share of the tasty treats, even if he had to lie down to do it. I hope he returns because watching him was highly entertaining. I will post more pictures of him on my blog.

Another hot day here in Ohio. The high was around 93 degrees Fahrenheit, but with the humidity figured in, it was 99 degrees. That's hot! And, believe it or not, we made our annual trek out to Mesopotamia, OH, for the ox roast put on by their fire company. I got some good pictures there that will go on the blog too.
