Heriot's

There was a very high risk of yet another puppy blip today so on my way home I took a very slight detour.

This is part of the school building for George Heriot's, one of Edinburgh's independent schools, founded in 1628.

Of all the schools this one is most spectacular, and has a further benefit of a view over Edinburgh Castle, dimly floodlit to the left.
