Today gets summed up in one word: hot.

Over 40 degrees, and still reading 33 degrees now at 11pm. Thank goodness for our new ceiling fans that really are the business (although one day is enough...).

I'm in the process of selecting an espresso machine for our kitchen. It's been on the cards for quite some time, and it feels like the time is right. And no, I'm not going for a 'pod' machine - very expensive for coffee, and so, so bad for the environment. We're looking for the traditional espresso + grinder package. It's been quite fun.

Tonight the Howling 45s braved the heat and once again attempted to lay down a few songs. Unfortunately it was too much of a demand for the old tape deck, which decided to do nothing instead. At least it was good to play!
