RAIN!!!!!

FINALLY!!! Rain...real rain!!!! Of course not nearly enough...and if it comes to fast the fire danger turns into real flood threats...but what Colorado has needed for weeks...has finally arrived!!!

We've had the worst fire season in Colorado's history. In the past two weeks more than 600 homes burned in two fires and six people lost their lives.

My heart goes out to the people in Waldo Canyon in Colorado Springs and High Park in Fort Collins. There aren't words strong enough to adequately express the condolences for those who lost and the appreciation for the firefighters who worked night and day to preserve what they could.

Rain...hopefully relief...
