Shoring up the beach

Another cold but sunny day.  My neighbours have gone away for a month and left me some of their vegetable so after an exhilarating zumba class I spent the morning making sweet potato and carrot soup, and leek and potato soup.  This afternoon we followed the bulldozers along the beach as they shored it up, then a muddy walk through the fields.  Thank goodness for wellington boots!
