The River Avon

The less famous River Avon runs from the Avon Dam reservoir down a rocky valley to the car park at Shipley Bridge. It takes a long time to walk, not because it's a long way but because there are so many little torrents, falls and mossy boulders that you have to stop and photograph.

It was a lovely morning, a little chilly but there wasn't much breeze. I'd just got back to the car before the rain came in so that was timed well!
