A Backyard Blip

The usual suspects showed up when I loaded the feeder, but as my daughter and I were eating lunch...two flickers came flying in.

What a pretty bird. A bit of a suet hog, but a pretty bird.

Speaking of pretty birds, the hawk must have paid a visit today, too. My daughter saw the feather pile when she left. Look at the picture in the extras. Disgusting and sad, but highly efficient.
