Dad's Birthday

Presents over tea, helping mum choose an outfit, walking a long 'short cut' to the restaurant, enjoying a relaxed dinner with some giggles and a surprise birthday cake. A normal family birthday celebration that was special due to its normality.

My closest friends and regular Blip followers will understand what I mean when I say how thankful I am to have normal back after the past few weeks.

Thankful for a few days off work as I'm feeling rather worn out. Looking forward to a quiet day tomorrow.
