Breakthrough

There have been some breakthroughs today.  Over the last few days Hamish has started to return play to Poppy.  Here she is this morning running full pelt at him and she would then do a circle around him and rush off begging to be chased.  He barked at her (his invitation to play) but it was too loud and she didn't know quite what to do with it.  He gave her a toy which is something he used to do to Hannah.  Then he washed her face.  For her part, she managed the dog flap without assistance.  The crate is still an issue for her as she doesn't like it, stands in her water and generally voices a very loud opposition to it.  Toilet training is still a work in progress so we are not home and hosed just yet.  She gets her second vaccination tomorrow.  Then it's only another 4 weeks and I can start to take her out for walks with Hamish.

My apologies for being such a poor commenter.  This puppy business has been monopolising my time not to mention with coping with the first week back at work.  Hopefully things will sort themselves out soon but in the meantime, thanks for dropping by.

Oh and I saw we have reached over £124,000 in pledges.  How wonderful is that!  We are nearly there and I hope all went well with the first meeting on Tuesday.
