Dumbo 2?

One of the best things about volunteering with shelter dogs every week is that I get the chance to play with puppies. It's kind of like being a grandma - short, fun, visits without all the messy and annoying stuff :)

This little cutie is an Australian shepherd mix. Of course she had gone home within a few hours of the shelter doors opening yesterday. She was a little live-wire. You should have seen her and her black and tan brother romping, ball-chasing, and playing tug with a toy.

My poor little pocket Canon was not up to the job of capturing the puppy antics - I ended up with lots of blurry shots, a few shots of vacant concrete floor, and several head-free images. This one was my very first shot, when she came to see what the camera was. Cutie!
