Abstract starburst

Any ideas for this one? A more difficult challenge than last week, but still a common sight in most kitchens. I'll post the original as an extra later, or as soon as someone guesses correctly.

I don't like to complain, but today's brilliant sunshine, though very welcome, was a serious hazard to drivers along with the icy patches on the roads. Quite blinding at times.
