Happy Birthday

My little granddaughter turned 5 years old a couple of weeks ago.

My son and his wife were wonderful enough to hold her 5th birthday party in the park this weekend so I could attend - I'm on holidays from work at present.

They live about 450km away from me so it is difficult to visit for just a weekend. I've driven down for 4 days, so have tomorrow before I face the big return drive on Monday.

My daughter-in-law has been making a very special cake over the past week. It is a fairy theme and these toadstools are on the corner of the cake.

I'll try to blip the finished cake tomorrow.
