Skills Day
Thank you all ever so much for putting yesterday onto the front page of popular - I'm very chuffed you all liked it as much as we did;
After yesterdays big big day it was three weary instructors that woke late in our little rental cottage in Grantown. Over many coffees and porridge we decided that the sensible choice was for a 'skills day' - this is instructor speak for 'we want to get out, but haven't got the legs for another epic - lets go practice/learn technical stuff'.
So that's what we did - into the bottom of Coire an Sneachda and then snow anchors, snow holes & confidence roping - even bumped into a few old friends. The weather wasn't anywhere near as nice as yesterday & it was certainly a lot of degrees colder.
When we finally looked up the sky was darkening & it was time to go, I grabbed this blip of the infamous climbing cliffs far far too loaded with snow - then heads into the wind we made our way down the mountain.
