Heidi's turn to need dressing up - as a super hero. Luckily Grandpa was on hand to make the shield at very short notice. Still did a real 'Dobb job' on it though!! I haven't seen her this evening (late night at school followed by committee meeting) but I'm told she's delighted with it. My job was to do the mask. Not quite the same standard but it'll do.

Busy, busy day in class, but all good fun. Just finished marking some literacy books, and I'm pretty pleased with what the children have done. They're a clever bunch!! Fronted adverbials, embedded clauses, inverted commas and adventurous vocabulary abound!
