Flower Friday

We absolutely sweltered this morning along with gales from the nor-west.  Great while it lasted, now cold southerly and rain.

I shot out to the garden while some stillness prevailed to get my blip.

The Hosta is more commonly know for its lovely leaves not so much for the flowers.  I thought it looked rather nice.  Lensbaby f4 (no macro ring). 
Thanks so much for all the lovely comments and hearts for the summer blip yesterday - particularly popular with the Northern Hemisphere blippers, I wonder why?

Semi finals at the tennis this avo, watching doubles at the moment, but some good singles to come later.

And a T20 (cricket) against Pakistan tonight.  
Doug is on kitchen duties :)
