It's that bloody tree again!

The movers finished loading this morning so by 11.30ish we were on our way. The weather was bloody awful and the drive to Queenstown, which andrea has never done before and which is normally spectacular was today wet and misty and uninspiring.
We got through to Wanaka by about 4 only to find dipsh** here had booked the motel for tomorrow night instead of tonight. There is a lot in Wanaka this weekend and so everywhere is pretty chock full but the man at the desk was absolutely wonderful and squeezed us into a room. Housekeeping also came and separated the beds for us.
