After temperatures over 30' yesterday it reached 14' today.
I know this isn't a weather site, but the contrasts are pretty extreme.

I took this from the comfort of my kitchen this morning.
It's about 20 kms away, but the 300mm (600mm dslr equiv.) brings it very close.

Those wispy clouds mean it's probably very dramatic in the valley, but I didn't check it out.

This afternoon I visited a friend who has Alzheimers.
She's been in a facility for five years and no longer recognises me.
I hope she doesn't know anything at all, but occasionally there's a flicker that I think may mean she does.
It's a cruel disease.
