Winter Sun

I went for a stroll around the RHS Gardens at Harlow Carr this morning. It was freezing cold, but there was plenty of winter sunlight and long shadows. This magnificent tree was begging to be photographed against the blue sky.
I much prefer cold, bright and clear winter mornings to the grey damp weather of late.
I have included a couple more in the extras. All of them have come straight out of the camera with no trickery having been performed on them.
