Peace & Tranquility

We visited the Morikami Museum & Gardens today, a truly beautiful and peaceful place that I would reccomend to anybody staying in the Palm Beach, FL area. I especially enjoyed the bamboo forest.....the sound of the bamoo rubbing together was calming. Lots of wildlife, insects and a very timid amadillo (my wifes blip)
The history of the Yamato Colony at Boca Raton is very interesting.
My shot for today was the peaceful Morikami Waterfall, messed around with the settings and liked what the result was.

George Sukeji Morikami. A modest farmer, George cultivated local crops and act as a fruit and vegetable wholesaler. In the mid-1970s, when George was in his 80s, he donated his land to Palm Beach County with the wish to preserve it as a park and to honor the memory of the Yamato Colony.
