Camera Obscura

This week is Teeny Tiny Toddler Fest at the Camera Obscura, so we thought we'd give it a go.  The place is great with all sorts of lights and mirrors and plasma balls and illusions.  MrsCyclops loved such things as a young un.  But BabyCyclops was fairly indifferent to the whole thing today.  We spent an hour and a half there and had quite a nice time for a change, and we were given a balloon and a quick toddler friendly preview of the Camera Obscura.  They had thought out the buggy parking and put on some face painting and activities and had a few extra toys out.  But... BabyCyclops was probably a bit young to appreciate it (he doesn't even like face painting yet) and we had to queue to get in and as it is over six floors around a spiral stair case he couldn't be safely allowed to roam free.  It was an OK day out, but for us on this occasion it wasn't the best fun ever and at £15 for each adult (u5s free) it was expensive as these things go.

Absolutely admire their business sense with optimising a quiet period to bring in the yummy mummies ;) and we will certainly go again when BabyCyclops is a bigger boy because there's some cool stuff in there.
