Successful Rescue
When we moved in I found a vase with what had been some sort of plant with a stick in the middle that looked extremely dead. I will always try, so I took it out the vase, put it in a pot and left on a windowsill in the utility room.
I guessed it was once an Orchid, so googled some information. I watered it with s few drops weekly and hey presto look at it now.
I have to be honest, I'm not sure I would have persevered if it wasn't for the pink one. The pink one (possibly Flower Friday for next week, was given to us as a moving in present. It lived on the fireplace for about three months. I was thrilled it lived, as most plants at the last house died on me. Suddenly all the lovely flowers dropped, I thought I'd killed it, but googling again I realised it was probably normal, so I put it next to the 'has been' in the utility room, and it too is flowering.
Had a lovely Class 94 lunch, (friends reunion) and home before it got dark.
Managed to get to a local flooring company and order some bathroom Lino. It will be laid next Thursday.
