Good news!
This is a happy hand.
I took Mum to Newcastle for her physio appointment today. It was a glorious day: sunny and fine. We had no snow but as we drove east, we could see just how much snow had fallen there. Along the West Road, snow was thick and icy on the pavements.
Mum is now able to bend her fingers towards making a fist. The physio is delighted with her progress. Next week she sees the surgeon. She still has to wear the splint but next week she will be allowed to remove it for short periods.
Liz dropped in this morning and it was lovely to see her.
I've been to Margret's tonight to fix her laptop which would not play nicely. I tried the good old trick of shutting it down and then seeing what it would do. After multipe upgrades and something ominous where it dealt with corrupt files (!), it was functioning normally. Phew!
