Norwich Sunset

I had taken so many nice photos today that I could have blipped, but this is the one I chose. Looking across the city with the roof of the forum in the centre. I don't know the names of the other buildings - yet!

Up at 6, I left Cambridge at 6.50 and the weather was clear; much better driving weather than last night. I was on the outskirts of Norwich at 8; in the office after parking in a local car park (at £5 all day) by 8.45.

The day went quite quickly and I left at 4ish, just after taking this picture.

Home I put the lovely rose Clive bought me into a beer bottle. It seemed a fitting vessel & has bloomed beautifully; amazing considering it had spent all night and all day today in the boot of my car!

I dashed out to Morrisons for the weekly shop. Forgot the list which Jon had written, but luckily Mollie took a photo of it and sent it to me just as I was about to ring her.(I can't shop without the list) I'm trying really hard just to buy what is on the list! It worked & I only spent £66. I need a few more weeks like that this month and I'll be able to start saving for a holiday!

Now Mollie & I are struggling to watch Dr No which we recorded last week. Jon & H are at scouts. Looking forward to a relaxed weekend.
