Finishing touch…..

…..To a Pischinger Torte.  A Polish delicacy invented in Vienna by one Oscar Pischinger in the 1890’s.
 
Basically it’s an up-market Kit-Kat in cake form.  Apparently it’s a favourite of the Ex – and the Ex’s Czech mother taught Paladian how to make it years ago.  When we were in the Czech Republic for a mere half-day on our holiday,

Paladian spied some of the special sugar free wafers which she cannot source in Australia.  So she bought them, and thus the cake came to be. Look forward to tasting it tonight.
