Phew!
Today we visited five Hindu circa seventh century monuments including incomplete temples all containing detailed figures of gods , followers , animals , and buildings relevant to the scene. And all carved from granite . So you would have expected an example one of these fine and still complete, no desecration , carved scenes. I just could decide which. So here is a rock known as the butter ball precariously resting on a steep slope ( see child sliding down it bottom right) and supported needlessly by three and a half people. All in the Mamallipuram area just outside Madras .
