Neist

Today we had a longer day at Neist, ticking off a number of 3 star routes from HVS to E2, and Tony finished the day by sending an old nemesis All The Small Things.

We did 6 in total so that brought the trip tally up somewhat after our short day yesterday!

I thought Neist was a bit over-starred, there was a fair bit of loose rock around and it just wasn't really as cool or impressive or quality as Kilt, but a bit more relaxing. Worth a visit but perhaps not as good as the guidebook suggests...

After much deliberation we decided to head back to Kilt tomorrow and so drove back across to Staffin to camp at the road-end, here is the sunset as we looked for the dinosaur footprints before dinner. Another beautiful day on Skye!
