And then it snowed ...

The first real snow of this winter began falling this morning, although at first it was more snow drizzle rather than anything more convincing. However, by lunchtime the blobs of snow were visible - you can see one or two falling in the main photo - and lying quite rapidly. Apparently traffic was stuck on the high road out of Sandbank this afternoon, where the hill rises past the cemetery. 

The extra photo was taken from the same window three hours before the main one. The difference always amazes on the first snowfall ...
