party!

party day!
went to J's birthday party at a sports centre.
arrived late (as we always do, sorry!) as we had a dreadful time trying to find somewhere to park/eat beforehand. seems every man and his dog was out trainspotting - trying to catch a glimpse of the flying scotsman perhaps. D enjoyed running about and bouncing with the 60 (!) other children. Poor L, having been randomly sick this morning, was super clingy and cuddly before puking again on Grandma's top. Oops. Then it started snowing....

here's hoping L sleeps it off, we don't all catch it, and the snow sticks around for us to play out in tomorrow.
